Have you always dreamed of being a famous singer-songwriter? Your big break could be coming with the 22nd annual NewSong Music Performance and Songwriting Competition, presented by Citizen Vinyl. The renowned competition has helped launch the careers of stars including Ingrid Michaelson, Meghan Trainor, and Grace Potter.

The winner will receive the chance to record a fully funded six song EP with 300 record pressings from Citizen Vinyl. To make the grand prize even sweeter, the winner will perform at the Arts Brookfield’s Summer Concert Series in New York City in the summer of 2024.

Early-bird entries are open with the option to submit one song for $45, two songs for $80, and any additional songs for $30 each. The deadline for entries is September 3.

Mark your calendars for November 18, when the competition finale will take place at Citizen Vinyl with a winner chosen after performances from finalists.
