Help us plan our dogs’ day out in Asheville

Reginald and Maisie are going on an Asheville adventure — but first, they need your help deciding on the schedule.

A split photo of city editors molly and grace with their dogs Reginald and Maisie

Molly’s Reg is a large, life-of-the-party pup, and Grace’s Maisie is a sweet, laid-back lady.

On the surface, AVLtoday editorial is a team of two — City Editors Molly and Grace are the faces you see on social media and at the end of every newsletter. But it’s actually a team of four. Because every newsletter is written and every post created with two canine assistants in tow. And it’s about time they got their moment in the proverbial spotlight.

Reginald and Maisie are going to em-bark on an adventure around Asheville, and we’d like you to plan their day out. Using our guide to dog-friendly places around the city, you can choose a spot under each category where Molly and Grace will take the furry friends.

Make your schedule selections, and we’ll share a recap of their romp on Monday, Aug. 26 (which is, uncoincidentally, National Dog Day).
