In a social media post on Wednesday, Jan. 8, Asheville Pizza and Brewing announced that the live music venue it co-ran with The Orange Peel, Rabbit Rabbit, will rebrand as the Asheville Yards Amphitheater.

Asheville Yards Amphitheater promises a calendar with nearly double the live music events and more festivals and family-friendly activities. And come November of this year, you’ll also be able to lace up your skates and hit its on-site ice rink.

On the current schedule, you’ll find a May 10 performance with mandolinist and singer-songwriter Chris Thile and the Asheville Symphony. And tomorrow, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m., another show announcement will be made. Although the artist is yet to be revealed, the venue is looking at late April for its first show of the season.

Follow Asheville Yards on Instagram and sign up for its newsletter for more updates and announcements about the venue’s future plans.
