With all the creativity running through our community, it’s no surprise that this season’s schedule is teeming with holiday markets. And they’re delivering an abundance of gifts, goods, and festive spirit.

So make your list and check it twice — then stop by to find something special and support local makers.

Single-day celebrations

Holiday Jamboree | Saturday, Nov. 23 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Pack Square Park | The annual Holiday Parade gets a post-storm twist this year, transforming into a holiday market with performances, photos with Santa, live music, and more.

Little Crafty at the Museum | Saturday, Nov. 23 | 12-5 p.m. | Asheville Art Museum | The Big Crafty, Horse + Hero, and the Asheville Art Museum are offering a chance to support local artisans, visit the galleries, and sip on some cocoa.

Highland Holiday Market | Friday, Nov. 29 | 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. | Highland Brewing Company | A whole host of vendors will be on hand — and Blackwatch will be released as a taproom exclusive.

Merry Little Movie + Market | Saturday, Nov. 30 | 12-4 p.m. | Haywood Park Hotel | Enjoy continuous screenings of classic Christmas shorts (plus, a beloved film at 2 p.m.) while you shop the selection of goods and gifts. Pro tip: Bring your own blanket and lawn chair to make the screening more cozy.

Tree Lighting Block Party | Saturday, Nov. 30 | 4-9 p.m. | Grove Arcade | The festive spirit will fill all the shops with a market curated by Marquee, performances from DJ Griffin White, The Bill Bares Jazz Trio, and the Asheville Ballet, and an appearance from Santa. Bonus: Shop an Art Garden pop-up every Saturday in December.

Holiday Makers Market | Sunday, Dec. 1 | 12-6 p.m. | Leo’s House of Thirst | Sip on wine and dine on treats while you browse handmade goods and treasures.

9th Annual Holiday Craft Bazaar | Saturday, Dec. 7 | 12-5 p.m. | Asheville Music Hall | Both floors of the hall will be filled with the unique works of 25+ local vendors, an array of mega-mosas + a Bloody Mary bar, and live music.

Holiday Market | Saturday, Dec. 14 | 1-6 p.m. | Vintage Kava | After you shop for gifts from local makers, take a seat by the fire for an acoustic jam and dine on some food truck dishes.

Good Tidings Market | Saturday, Nov. 23-Sunday, Nov. 24 | 11 a.m.-5 p.m. | Asheville Masonic Temple | Kick off the season by shopping the offerings of artisans, makers, and vintage vendors. Psst... you can get early access with a ticket to the Preview Party on Friday, Nov. 22.

Holiday Night Market | Tuesdays, Nov. 26-Dec.17 | 5-10 p.m. | Fleetwood’s | Grab a drink and support local artists and vintage vendors.

Holiday Pop-Up Shop | Friday, Nov. 29-Tuesday, Dec. 24 | 10 a.m.-8 p.m. | Center for Craft | Hosted by Show & Tell, this pop-up market will continue through the season with goods from 100+ vendors.

Winter Wonder Walk | Fridays + Saturdays, Nov. 29-Dec. 14 | 6-8 p.m. | Adventure Center of Asheville | Although there’s lots of shopping from local makers on offer, this event also boasts outdoor live-action theater, a glowing ropes course, snowballs, and hot cocoa.

Uncommon Market | Saturday, Dec. 7-Sunday, Dec. 8 | 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. | Haywood Park Hotel | Find something for everyone on your list with the help of antique vendors, artists, and makers.

97th Annual Greens Market | Saturday, Dec. 7-Sunday, Dec. 8 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | French Broad River Garden Club | The market will feature numerous regional artists, music from the JAM Kids of Henderson County, and support for local scholarships + storm-damage restoration.

The Big Crafty | Saturday, Dec. 7-Sunday, Dec. 8 | 12-6 p.m. | Harrah’s Cherokee Center - Asheville | Don’t miss this annual market spotlighting an array of artists from all over the region — entry is $10 on Saturday and free on Sunday.

East Asheville Tailgate Market | Friday, Nov. 22 | 3-5:30 p.m. | Groce United Methodist Church | The last market of the year will welcome in the holidays with offerings from regular vendors, as well as local artists.

North Asheville Tailgate Market | Saturdays, Nov. 22-Dec. 21 | 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | UNC Asheville Lot P34 | More than 75 local vendors will bring fresh produce, stocking stuffers, Christmas trees, craft goods, beverages, and treats to the annual Holiday Bazaar.

West Asheville Tailgate Market | Tuesdays, Dec. 3-17 | 3:30-5:30 p.m. | 718 Haywood Rd. | WATM transforms into a holiday market during the month of December.
