“Napoleon Dynamite Live!” is headed to Asheville this winter

One of the most quoted movies of the 2000s is coming back to life with a live show.

It’s time to break out the “Vote for Pedro” t-shirt that’s been collecting dust in the back of your closet because “Napoleon Dynamite Live!” is headed to town this winter. The actors of the cult-favorite indie flick, Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico) will take the stage for a Q+A after a screening of the movie.

But it’s Napoleon Dynamite after all, so you should expect this live show to be as eccentric as the film. It’s part game show, improv comedy, and dance party, with a heavy dose of audience participation.

Fill your pockets with your own personal stash of tater tots and make your way to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 7 for the show — tickets are on sale now, starting at $59.
