This Saturday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 6 p.m. Blue Ridge Pride will take over Pack Square Park for a free day of advocacy, service, performances, and parties. This year’s theme is “Resilience and Resistance,” speaks to our community’s commitment to showing up for each other in the face of disaster and fighting for a more climate-resilient future.

Coinciding with this year’s theme, world-renowned environmentalist drag queen, Pattie Gonia, will be in Asheville on Friday, Sept. 26, as part of the “SAVE HER!” tour, a drag show that centers on climate change solutions. Bonus: Prices just dropped to make the show more accessible to locals.

The festivities don’t end once you’ve wandered the vendors and seen performances on both the main and the cafe stages on Saturday. On Sunday, Sept. 28, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Nicole Paige Brooks will host the Blue Ridge Pride closing party — grab tickets.
