Is Meherwan Irani the next great travel show host? Hundreds of YouTube commenters think so. The James Beard Award-winning chef behind Chai Pani recently hosted an episode of Bon Appétit’s popular web series, Street Eats.

Released last week, the video follows the chefs at Hotel Theresa, who create Mumbai’s most famous chicken biryani for a crowd of 300 people each day. The video has racked up nearly one million views and counting, with Irani earning plenty of praise for his palpable excitement as host. “This host can talk to me about a single piece of wooden stick and I would listen excitedly,” one commenter writes.

If you’re hooked after soaking up all the culinary knowledge dropped in the video, good news. This is episode one of a handful hosted by Irani that are coming soon. In the meantime, there are plenty of episodes of Street Eats to indulge in. Pro tip: Grab some chaat while you watch.
