How to make the most of your morning

You’re already halfway there.

If you’re reading this, you’re already in-the-know and on the AVLtoday train. Go you. 👏

However, if you’re having trouble reading us in the morning 📩 – or didn’t know we also share news on Facebook, post nice Instagram photos or tweet must-do events – we’re here to help.

FAQ:

Wait. I haven’t subscribed for a daily email yet.

If you don’t get AVLtoday yet, sign up at AVLtoday.com. Once you’re on the list, confirm your subscription by opening the email you receive from us immediately after signing up + clicking on the “confirm subscription” button. Go ahead and add the email hello@AVLtoday.com to your address book or “safe senders list.” (That way, you won’t have to do the Spam hassle dance.) Then, be on the lookout for your first AVLtoday newsletter in your inbox the next weekday at 6 a.m. If you see it right away, awesome – your mornings are made from now on. If not, advance to the next square (er, FAQ). ⬇

I haven’t been getting it in my inbox for a while.

We’re probably in your Spam.

  1. Search “hello@AVLtoday.com” in your inbox.
  2. If (when) you find us in your Spam folder, click “Not Spam” or “Move to inbox.”

You should start getting us in your inbox again.

I can’t read the whole email in my inbox, and I have to click “View in browser” or “View entire message” to read the entire thing.

Unfortunately, not being able to see the entire email in your inbox is a problem for all Gmailapp users on mobile. We are looking into making a future change to avoid this problem. If you use Apple mail, you’re able to see the whole email in that app on mobile.

It’s going into my Promotions tab in Gmail.

Try this first:

  1. On desktop, find the email in your “Promotions” tab of Gmail.
  2. Click on the subject line and drag it into the “Primary” folder.
  3. You’ll see a small yellow box pop up that says something like “Do this for all emails from this address?” → click “Yes.”

You should start getting our emails into your Primary (main) inbox after you do this.

If we’re still not going to your main inbox, try this:

  1. On desktop in Gmail, search in the search bar (up top) “hello@AVLtoday.com”
  2. Click the “More” button under the search bar → select “Create filter”
  3. In the “From” field, type “hello@AVLtoday.com”
  4. Click the blue link at the bottom that says “Create filter with this search >>”
  5. Near the bottom of this form, checkmark “Categorize as” → choose “Personal”
  6. Press blue button that says “Create filter”

And then, our emails will •definitely• go to your Personal folder – a.k.a. your Primary folder.

I can’t get in touch with you guys.

This one’s easy. Email us anytime with suggestions, questions, answers to our questions, etc. at hello@AVLtoday.com. You can also keep up with us on Instagram, Facebook + Twitter.
