Happy Monday Asheville, Audra here. 👋 I hope your weekend was great – I spent time outside despite the clouds, just soaking up the warmer weather. This coming week has a lot in store for Asheville, especially with Easter hoppin’ up at the end of this week. 🐰

While my week will be full of fun (celebrating my dad’s birthday in addition to Easter) here are a few events I am also excited about to keep your week full + eventful. 👇

Asheville Filmmaker Mixer | Mon., April 15 | 6 p.m. | Asheville Studio, 12 Old Charlotte Hwy. | Free | Meet + mingle with other AVL actors, producers + screenwriters. 🎥

Share the Shame | Mon., April 15 | 8 p.m. | Noble Kava, 268 Biltmore Ave. | Free | Ever think about that super cringey thing you did/said during adolescence? Get it off your chest at this open mic event. 🎙️

WNC Repair Cafe | Tues., April 16 | 5-8 p.m. | Living Web Farms, 220 Grandview Ln. | Free | Bring in your broken appliances, stuck zipper, rusty tools, old bicycle, dull pruning shears, etc. and work with volunteers to make the necessary repairs to keep it running. 🔧

SOJA | Wed., April 17 | 8 p.m. | The Orange Peel | $30 | W/ openers Passafire, Iya Terra. 🎶

35th Annual Economic Crystal Ball Seminar | Thurs., April 18 | 6:15-8 p.m. | Lipinksy Auditorium at UNC Asheville, 1 University Heights | Free | This program will focus on inflation, employment, interest rates, the strength of the dollar and housing market + more. 💰

Broken Bone Bathtub | Fri., April 19 | 7 p.m. | Secret location | $30 | Broken Bone Bathtub is an immersive theatre project taking place inside a bathtub, in an actual home. The secret location will be given upon ticket purchase. 🛁

Easter On The Green | Sat., April 20 | 2-5 p.m. | Pack Square Park | Free | Celebrate Easter with age-appropriate egg hunts, bouncy houses, photos with the Easter Bunny + more. 🐣

Easter Egg Hunt at Biltmore | Sun., April 21 | 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | The Biltmore Estate | $30+ | Bring the kids + join this family friendly event with hundreds of children canvassing the Front Lawn of Biltmore House. Enjoy sweet treats, magic shows + take photos with the Easter Rabbit, plus more activities. 🐰
