Top o’ the mornin’ to ya, Asheville. Audra here👋 – and, I may still be hype from all the St. Paddy’s Day fun. ☘️ Last week had some pretty awesome events, but looking to the week ahead, I am excited for Merlot From Around the World (you had me at Merlot… and cheese), the LaZoom Asheville Music History Tour, and of course the 5th Annual Get in Gear Fest to get us all ready for spring outdoor activities.

Merlot From Around the World | Tues., Mar. 19 | 5:30-6:30 p.m. | MetroWines, 169 Charlotte St. | $25 | Sample five different styles of Merlot thoughtfully paired with locally produced cheeses. 🧀

LaZoom Asheville Music History Tour | Tues. + Wed., Mar. 19-20 | 3 p.m. | LaZoom Room, 76 Biltmore Ave. | $45 | Busking pianist Andrew Fletcher leads a tour of Asheville’s rich musical history accompanied by live music. 🎹

One Fast Move or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur | Thurs., Mar. 21 | 7 p.m. | Black Mountain College Museum | $8 | This 97-minute documentary takes the audience on a visceral ride of the dramatic events Jack Kerouac’s 1962 novel Big Sur is based on. 🎥

5th Annual Get in Gear Fest | Sat., Mar. 23 | 12-5 p.m. | Salvage Station | Free | Join all kinds of outdoor gear vendors to try out new gear, enjoy family-friendly activities, food + drinks. ⛰️

Social Media Bootcamp | Sat., Mar. 23 | 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Goodwill Career Center, 1616 Patton Ave. | $99 | Sarah Benoit of JB Media will share how to get the results you want from social media marketing + networking. 📱

Asheville Amadeus Finale Concert | Sun., Mar. 24 | 4 p.m. | Thomas Wolfe Auditorium | $25+ | Featuring the music of Mozart, Paganini, Rachmaninoff + more. 🎵
