Blue Ridge Pride’s annual Pride Festival takes place Sat., Sept. 24 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Pack Square Park. With a week of events leading up to the big day, we’re proud (see what we did there?) to highlight some of the ones we’re most excited about.

Tues., Sept. 20
Embracing Inclusion: A Community Chat will explore how folks in the community can best advocate, celebrate, educate, and serve WNC’s LGBTQ+ population.The free event takes place at Black Wall Street (8 River Arts Pl.) from 6-8 p.m.

Wed., Sept. 21
Raise a glass to inclusion and community with the “Luv ALL” Launch Party taking place at Green Man Brewery from 5-8 p.m. Can’t make it? Don’t fret: Green Man’s limited production Luv ALL beer, an IPA brewed with grapefruit puree, will be available at the festival on Saturday.

Thurs., Sept. 22
The Art of PRIDE takes place at Marquee Asheville from 6-8 p.m. The event will also showcase the work of luminaries Warren Wilson Philosophy Professor John Casey, artist Humberto Dionisio, and David Macvaugh of Sphere of Love.

Fri., Sept. 23
Kick off the weekend with a Silent Disco Pre Pride Party at Rabbit Rabbit from 7:30-11 p.m. Don your best disco clothes and get down to funky sounds.
