It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by all the bands coming to Asheville, even if you know their music well. But what about the groups you haven’t heard of? It’s not like we all have the time or inclination to look up every single band coming to town (it’s so much work we’d never make it to the show).

Next Week’s Playlist is designed to help you plan your show schedule. The site allows you to build Spotify playlists based on who’s coming to venues you select. The idea is that you’ll discover music that will lead you straight to the live show (Hey there, What So Not at the Orange Peel on 4/26).

Right now, venues included are The Mothlight, Asheville Music Hall, Salvage Station, the Grey Eagle, Highland Brewing, and the Orange Peel. (These venues and Next Week’s Playlist use the event ticket marketplace + concert aggregator SeatGeek).

Give it a go + then share this post (and your playlist) with your show crew to help plan your next night on the dancefloor. 💃
